Alika Training is committed to empowering unemployed youth and uplifting communities in Benoni. Our Forklift Bursary Programme provides opportunities for individuals aged 18 to 24 to gain valuable skills and forklift training, leading to increased employability and brighter futures.
Eligibility
This initiative focuses on providing fully funded forklift training to unemployed youth in the Benoni area who meet the following criteria:
- Age: 18 to 24 years old
- Residency: Residing in Benoni or surrounding areas
- Unemployment Status: Currently unemployed

Forklift Training Curriculum
The forklift training program covers:
- Forklift safety: Understanding and implementing safety protocols for safe and responsible operation.
- Forklift operation: Mastering techniques for maneuvering, loading, and unloading materials with precision and efficiency.
- Forklift maintenance: Learning basic maintenance procedures to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of the equipment.

Employer Partnerships
- Offer jobs:to Alika Training forklift bursary recipients after they complete their training.
- Provide work experience:Offer 30 days of work experience to help recipients gain valuable practical experience.
- Training for your employees:Engage Alika Training to offer forklift training, lifting machinery training, and safety courses to your employees. A portion of the profit from these courses is used to sponsor the Alika Forklift Bursary Programme
- Decide to sponsor the progrmme then we increase the number of recipients, Forklift bursary: the cost per student total cost is R2100
- In Kind donation to Alika Training Bursary Programme:Can decide to donate new or second-hand lifting and construction machineries like forklift, Cheery picker, Telehandler, Reach Truck. PPT, ADT, 777 Dump tuck Excavator, TLB, and we increase the bursary recipient and bursary courses scope.
