Alika Training offers a variety of accredited training programs in lifting machinery operation, road freight transport, construction and mining machinery operation, and artisan engineering skills. Our courses are designed to provide comprehensive forklift training, operator training, and safety training to individuals and organizations across South Africa.

  1. Course Enrollment

To enroll in a course, you must meet the eligibility criteria and complete the registration process. Enrollment is subject to availability and Alika Training’s approval.

  1. Fees and Payment

Course fees are outlined on our website and are subject to change. Payment must be made in full before the commencement of the course.

  1. Cancellation and Refunds

Alika Investments Training Fees Refund Policy

At Alika Investments, we value our learners and strive to provide exceptional training experiences. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, requiring you to withdraw from a course after registration or payment. To address these situations fairly and transparently, we have established the following refund policy.

Non-Refundable Fees

If you register for a course, begin training, but are unable to continue due to unforeseen circumstances, we regret to inform you that we cannot offer a refund. However, we prioritize your educational needs and will allow you up to six months to return and complete your studies with us without incurring additional costs.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds can only be considered under the following conditions:

  • The refund request is made after registration and payment but before starting training.
  • The refund excludes non-refundable admin fees.

Refund Structure

For eligible refund requests, the following deductions will apply:

  • 70% Refundable: Learners will be refunded 70% of the total fees paid.
  • 30% Handling Fees: This portion will be retained to cover administrative and processing costs.

Refund Policy for Companies

If a company has paid training fees, including taxes like V.A.T., and is unable to continue:

  • 15% V.A.T. Deduction: This amount will be deducted from the total paid fees.
  • 30% Handling Fees Deduction: An additional 30% will be retained for processing.

For example:

If the total paid fees are R10,000 (including R1,500 V.A.T.):

  • A.T. deduction: R1,500.
  • Handling fees deduction: 30% of the remaining R8,500 (R2,550).
  • Refundable amount: R5,950.

Refund Duration

Refund processing times range from 30 to 90 days, depending on the complexity of the transaction and administrative requirements.

  • Payment Method: Refunds will only be transferred to the original account from which the payment was made. This is to ensure compliance with financial regulations and prevent fraudulent transactions.

Course Exchange Option

In the event you are unable to continue your training and wish to transfer your spot to another learner:

  • We are happy to accommodate this request, provided the transfer is communicated in advance and meets our administrative requirements.
  • This option ensures flexibility and helps learners avoid financial losses.
